Transformers 3

Saw Transformers 3 yesterday. Well, it was better than the second one, but overall I am quite disappointed with the movie. <.<

The story had great and interesting aspects, but it was all lost through the movie and they could have done more with it.

One main fault (in my eyes) of the two last movies was that the movies concentrated too much on the humans and not on the Transformers. I got nothing against a good mix, but for movies about Transformers all we got were humans...

Once again we did not even get to know the names of the Autobots; we got more names for the fricking Decepticons than the main heroes. ._.

I really missed the interactions between humans and Transformers from the first part.

I really, really liked the first movie (generally like Transformers as I grew up with it) and I was soo excited about three awesome movies. Now I wish they would have stopped after the first one to safe us the disappointment.

The third one wasn't bad (the battles were really great), but they could have done so much more with it. That's really the disappointing part of it...

Now it's over and part of me is glad. No more week's worth of waiting for the release just to be disappointed...

I agree with you there. Haven't seen the third one yet (and maybe I won't see it) but I loved the first and didn't like the second so much. It's true, we don't even know the names of the Autobots :(

But nowadays more people want to see big explosions and people running around and stuff, the stories are often lacking.
Even if the first movie showed us that it's possible to mix both and have an awesome movie.

Well, as I said, the third wasn't that bad (way better than the 2nd) - but it could have been better. Still, we do not regret seeing it in the cinema.

And worst part was the end, it was quite sudden. It was like "we fight for million of years against the Decepticons, but now we are going to finish them in 5 minutes BAM" and over... ._."

The movie had a lot of "big explosions and running around and stuff", that was definitely well done. ;) There is nothing better for action than big robots. xD

But you are right, now that I am thinking about it, the stories of many movies from the last years were somehow lacking... Most of my favourite movies are about 10+ years old (some even older than myself).


If you wanna watch TF3 and are undecided if it should be 2D or 3D, the 3D was well done, but there were not many great effects of it, so 2D will be just as fine (my and my parents' opinion). Save a little money at least...

Ok then I'll go to the 2d screening if I wanna see it in the cinema :D
